Wordful Wednesday: Some Days

Some days are like a much-labored-over, fresh pan of lasagna falling face-first on the bottom of the oven...

Or like pencil, crayon, paint, and stickers on a freshly-cleaned counter top...

Or like bites taken out of school work...
Anyone know how to get an almost-three-year-old to stop eating paper? I'm desperate.
But then other days are like Nutella mustaches...

And cute, new baby teeth finally coming through...

And sunny, blue-eyed smiles.

Most days are a combo of all of those things:) At least the paper has fiber! As for that poor, sad lasagna - no words...

Ohhhhh you poor thing! Those days are so not fun. Especially the ginormous lasagna mess. :) I had to giggle when I read that your little cutie was the culprit on chewing on the paper - then I remembered Princess Nagger used to do that at that age, too. The thing that worked for her (especially since she was teething at the time) was one of those teether rings you can put in the fridge or freezer - she preferred gnawing on that instead of paper. ;)

My brother used to eat paper, and books and anything that had a papery feel, even until he was in his teens.

We found out that he had Pika (sp?) syndrome and he was eating the paper because his body was lacking a certain nutrient.

Oh, I hope all of the disasters did not happen on the very same day! The lasagna just serves to justify my fear of using the disposable aluminum pans.
Your little ones are so adorable!
